Sometimes I think people go way to far to make a point.. : )
I for one dont see it.. : )
I would never do that over this supposed fix to a supposed problem..
I could see fixing something that was broken but as far as I can tell it has gotten to were people want things to be to their advantage, Like dumb the turrets and make the weapons less powerful and so on.... And there was nothing wrong with the editor other then the fact you could not paint roads and alot of people had a issue with spawning.. I not once heard anyone complain about the interface.. Unless I was looking the wrong way.. I saw no probs with it and didnt see a reason to fix a NON-ISSUE..... : )
WHy do people always feel that they have to expand on a game that had nothing wrong to begin with .... Now I know the last couple of patches were neede to fix things but this one doesnt seem to fix anything and in fact is causing probs...
Like flag stuck OOB WTF is that? how about I fly the flag up with a shrike and leave it 10000 mtrs up?

what the heck is going on... IF you want to impress us... Make some new buildings and weapons and vehicles... Now that woudl be worth downloading a patch and beta testing it.. BUt this download looks like it was made for noobs who cry to much about getting zapped with a elf or cant fight as well and want to even the playing field.. stop whining and play... I will stick to last patched version as I see a reversion to old version within a year... I really dont see why Dynamix and GG couldnt just release some new weapons and vehicles and let us have something new that is fun...
I can deal with the old editor the way it is because it is intuitive were as the new one requires too many extra movements.. If I am bent over a keyboard and mouse I would like to spend time mapping and not looking at the keyboard and mouse to see if I am Alt-CTr-Clicking-Keystrokes-F3/F4ing and so on to make a map... and dont get me started on the f11 and hotkeys.... : )
Well tahts my two cents in a nut shell... So wake me when we get some new weapons and stuff.. : )

Hrmmm. I totally disagree with you. If you want new interiors, then make them. I know you can. . Well anyways. The new patch is great. And yes, the GG team are kings. They have made the editor so much better and enjoyable to use for all of us.

The new paint feature is so leat so don't go going around telling everyone that the new patch is stupid.

I don't really think that T2 needs new vehicles either. That would change the gameplay around way too much. IMO, once again this patch is wounderful. Also, I was just woundering... what kind of new weapons would you like to see. I think the 9 or 10 (i dunno) weapons are enough. Like I said before, I think that adding major things such as weapons and vehicles would totally change the gameplay way to much.

*Please Note, this is not a flame to Berk. And it may seem my tone is harsh. But it isn't. lol*

Nah, what I mean is there are how many different mods out there... Shifter being the top one..
Now I saw all the neat vehicles for that one and the new weapons... I just think that if they have time to make an update why not add(finish) the stuff that was originally intended to ship with the game....
And I dont want to sound like I hate the editor..... I loathe it .... : )
BUt to each his own.. I am planning to use the old editor to make the terrain, add buildings and stuff and basically finish it by about 90 percent, then finish it in new editor so I can add roads and stuff.. : )
BUt I am pleased with the old style so I will remain a user of that.. Like Billy Crystall said in the Princess Bride..." Have fun playing with the new editor"... Well not exact words... But anyways....
And I dont see flames for some reason... I guess I dont see any need to get mad on a lifeless hunk of plastic and metal and wires... Kind of pointless no?

ALT + E opens it, if that doesnt work, go to Settings/Contols and load a preset config (I used the french one) and that should remove the keybindings from the ALT key so it should work.

I prefer the old Map Editor's GUI. I prefer the New Editor's lack of UEs and keybinds....So, i guess i can get used to the new one :P
