Vehicle_collision

I making a ring for my Shrike Racer maps. Is it nessecary to have vehicle_collision shapes on a thin ring? The ring is 1024x32X1024. I did place them in but when I put them in their places, the faces of the ring itself are invisible. But when I move them out of the way, all the faces show up.

1) When you make a vehicle collision entity, you have to select the brushes that will make it up, the press "To Entity" and select "vehicle_collision"

2) They are only useful to build a simple model of a building to colide with, to keep vehicles out of certain areas and to reduce lag



In your case, you really don't need them. Unless your ring has 1,000 faces....

Oh I figured out what was wrong after taking a 3 hr break. I had some of the objects for vehicle_collision still on the default entity type.
