I've been trying really hard to fix my dome on my sub's but they don't seem to want to stay were i put them. could someone please fix this for me?

Ummmm... Ok... I hope my comp doesn't freeze while trying to compile this monster.

One step to fix this:

1) Rebuild the hull.


All the pieces of the hull are so messed up and not alligned. You need to rebuild it and plan where the vertices will fall. Make sure they fall on a major grid intersection. Make sure all the vertices and faces line up. When you get to the domes, use triangular wedges (4 points). Those missile silos are too crampt. There are alot of brushes that you don't need. And there are alot that need to be mad into detail entities. The conning tower is too big and needs to be planed better to attach to the hull.

Let me put it this way: You currently have 3500 faces. This model should get about 1500 faces.

The reason your domes are messed up is because (1) they dont have vertices that fall on grid lines and (2) they are invalid shapes (they are either concave or have non planar faces). That is why I suggested what I did.

after you run and and you go into the game the dome's just mess up like on the link i put on the first post
