No, thats a brander.
Cattle prods are electrified (though they can just be a pointed stick) rods that you will prod your cow's rear end or side to get them moving.
Bander's you heat up and slap your farm's brand onto the animal so that you can find it if you lost it in a herd of other cows or something.
