To All WC Editors: Hi, I guess I'll use this as an introduction for myself as well as a way to ask this question. 1.) introduction- I've been editing levels for various games for a year and a half I think. I'm proficient in Dromed(thats the Thief series editor) Unreal-ed(thats the Unreal Tournament editor) and I've mapped for Tribes and have worked with the Tribes 2 editor. 2.) now that the intro is out of the way on with the show. I'm having a little bit of trouble reading and understanding the posts you guys are writing. A.) What I consider to be the compiling of an object doesn't seem to be what you guys consider the compiling of an object. So what is "compiling" in your sense of the word. B.) Any other WC Jargon you can think of that might be helpfull in understanding what you guys are talking about. (I understand clipping and vertice manipulation and stuff like that so you can omit those things)
3.) I'm currently working on a project (id rather not talk about it directly) suffice to say I want to make it so that a when the generator is destroyed it triggers an ambient sound to go off mainly a siren. Anyone know how I might accomplish this task?
4.) Where can I get computer fake sophisticated equipment monitor faces. You know like those textures that make it look like your looking at some object that is monitoring say the temparature or something like that. Take a look at the Screen Shots for the level Neve by Nycto to get a beter understanding of wat Im talking about () Its the third screenie in the back of the room there is this wierd looking texture that looks like a monitor.

Speaking of which, exactly what do the "screens" in Neve say? They aren't legible due to the texture compression, but it's obvious that originally they said something.
