Are you playing around with LOD?
Because thats what is causing this problem. Go read the LOD guide I wrote up (check Clever's sig).

never touched the LOD.
i did alot of vetex manipulation but there are no invalid structures.

Ha! found the problem
it was in the naming on the interior, i had it named psychotrack_1 and psychotrack_2 i remembered those underscores followed w/ numbers are for lods.
to fix all i did was change the name =)

Be aware that this isn't the only reason someone would have this error.
They can get this by screwing up LOD implementation as well. If you set the "Minimum Pixels For Detail" of, say, detail level 1 higher than detail level 0, this will happen.
Also, if you set the Minimum Pixels For Detail to 0 it will happen.

You can set the minimum pixels to 0 without any problems (remembering that you can't have a detail level below it obviously).
