as folks know, i just basically gave up on t2 mapping... or... at least i stopped releasing stuff (hehehehe)

i did a few maps a year ago, which i just never finished. this map, Abydos, is actually two maps in one. one is fast, small. one is larger, with teleporters and crazy open gameplay. there was a ton of scripting in that one as well. i also did a pretty massive race map for mebad's mod which is like 99% done, but i dont know if the mod is still alive.

ANYWAYS, if somebody who really knows code and worldcraft (please, DONT ask if you are not competent on scripting and worldcraft... cuz the idea is to finish it not teach)... and wants to polish Abydos off, id be willing to pass it on.

this was from spring 2002 or so (dont think anybody else had been doing egyptian stuff yet ).

perhaps the egyptians should sue MGM?



and oh, i was on the sg1 mod dev team and quit after i told them it was doomed... 1.5 years ago.

hey I remember seeing those screengrabs.. hmm I really wanted to play that map too, i'd polish it up, however if you remember me at all you'll no doubt remember my asking questions and for help all of the time etc and I really haven't got anymore scripting skills.. anyway that map looked kickass i've gotta say.. out of all the tribes 2 maps you and sparky probably had the best.. however I haven't been playing in a long long time so I do't know what's out there

but err *ehem* what was the point of this post? I suppose there was none.. except a hey.. what's up tse? everything going good?
