hehe. though it might not be written anywhere (i know it was though), it is still commmon curtousy to give kudos to those who deserve them meaning the people that worked on those interiors. never at any point said you had to deleat them just saying to give kudos. i would have been pleased, to see them even in the mission description upon subbmitting the map, or even posting that you forgot to give kudos in the grading posts

yeah. if i see someone using my work, i really dont mind, as long as i see my name somewhere i really enjoy seeing how other people make my stuff work for what they are doing.

but when i want to use someone elses stuff i just make sure to ask them before hand to make sure they wotn get angry or somthing...but its never happened though exept for v5planet who isnt fond of sharing his work

I appreciate any and all comments on design of the map.

You point out the drop ships don't "seem" to be much because they do not carry supplies but the teleport which is powered from the Drop Ships allows you to still go there and the 2 active Inventory Stations on the ships themselves.

The ships are not totally immune but they are a way to have a chance even if the rest of the base on the ground is gone.

I am not sure what you mean by "Grid" for the terrain. There seems to be a limitation on the editor when you try and paint a texture. It only lets you go so far outside the mission area before stopping you from the painting.

I played with the lighting effects for the look of the bases and the fog. I have done this simply because so many maps are green terrain, snow or one of the other basics. I wanted a different look for the whole map than the average.

I am updating the MIS file to reflect specific sources of the interiors.

when you say that the editor only lets you go so far with texture editing on the terrain, its not over just sinple fly over to the other side of the green box. youll notice that it repeats. so you can continue your editing there

I looked at the terrain and found the spots where I missed and cleaned up the textures on it.

At the same time I saw where this thread went I had E-Mailed Bytor to take down the map from here and he has since removed it.

I have no excuse and I will make none for being lazy about crediting others. I was wrong and I will endeavor to improve on that count signifigantly.

As for now I do have a copy of the Original Map I made. I have been working on an adjustment to the map with different bases. These will be credited fully once I find the map they came out of.

The Ship was from DeathMoon Rising by EEPROM and is properly credited now.

If I had seen the part on the comments about not using the interiors I would not have.

I have enjoyed the 2 you folks have released when no one else was out playing on the servers in the mornings.

hehe no need to get all serious on us this is a relaxed and helpfull environment well maintained by the diversity of mappers...and...things alike relax, get help, make awsome maps for others to enjoy, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

SS would need to second my motion, but since we no longer have the personell capability to make the entire chapter (within the forseable future) we can open the buildings for individual use, as long as credit is mentioned.
