its just that really cool maps may never get exposure, and then forgotten about

I agree, maps should be sorted either by downloads or from newest to oldest in the map vault.
I asked bytor if he was looking for more map reviewers. But he said that they dont really need any till t3maps.com

i disagree. how bout making an option to sort the maps out by: downloads, newest-oldest, alphabetical order.

Maybe, theres always search for that. But I think a basic version of the search with those 3 options should come up when u goto that page?

I agree with some ideas in this thread...
Maps should be arranged from newest-->oldest, and are, on the front page of T2M. But ATM clicking on 'ctf' for example results in an alphabetical list of maps... this should probably be newest-->oldest too.
However to be hoenst I don't think anything affects map exposure much except for 3 things - if it's
[list=1]
[*]Map of the week
[*]CTF
[*]Server Side
[/list=1]
(and probably in that order) It will get more DLs. But I don't think we can expect this to change, no matter how much reviewing maps and revising map lists goes on.

I agree, the maps should be sorted by age by default. This is what you get when you click on the "more..." link underneath the 20 newest maps on the home page.
