i need help with programing, and some other things, i'm going to make a big city map with lots of buildings you can enter. if you want to help you can post or e-mail me at tefcaptain@netscape.net
ok: problem. The engine will have problems by having to deal with lots of interiors, and making big interiors is very time consuming, and difficult because of a bug.
I use portals. I just built a HUGE open area interior (3000 pix across, almost the range of a mortar) with a lot of doorways open (currently) to the sky, and it gives absolutely no lag even with other interiors visible in the distance. Without portals it lags.
well i was going to make it a new type of map, but it will take way to long to do what i wanted to do, so i'm just going to make a city map and i'm going to try to make it where it doesn't lag. and i need to know, can any of you make vehicles?
