Review on force field window design

This was grabbed from the .mis of Planetside T2, if I wanted a more translucent ff, what texture should I use? I don't know any 3d editing program well enough to actually make it a real window. I want something similar to frosted glass, like the kind in bathrooms and such.

Does anyone know of a texture?

Does anyone know how to place this ff into the mission editor?

the texture matters though, by using the "windshield" you don't have to play around with the translucency (sp?, to tired to scroll down the page to look at the spelling) a lot.
