If I am understanding your question correctly and if I am understanding the problem correctly then the solution would be this:

Your scripting needs to go into a file called (nameofmap.cs) and in the zip file have the path of /scripts.

FYI:

The easiest way I have found to zip the files up into a vl2 is to do the following:

1) create directories in the root directory of one of your hard drives with the names missions, terrains, textures/gui, scripts
2) then you just need to copy/paste the associated files to each of the directories
3) turn on path info in WinZip and then just add the files.
4) rename the .zip to .vl2 and viola!

Ok, is there any way to make a second ground level that is inverted (upside down) so as to resemble a cave or underground cieling??

that was possible in T1 but unfortunately nobody's been able to do it in T2 that I know of I don't think the terrain can be rotated.

too bad, there were some nice T1 maps that did this.
