G'day!

Well, here's some more topographical data you m i g h t want to dig into. It's rather cumbersome as the "software" required to read these "elevation maps" partly consists of scripts for a commercial image processing software package called IDL (Interactive Data Language) and partly some obscure softwares for converting raw NASA data. But that won't put you off, would it?

Just imagine running around the crater rim of Olympus Mons, that'd be sweeet! Although of course this particular mountain (or vulcano to be more exact) is about 24km high I doubt it'd fit even the largest possible T2 mission area, but still...you could always shrink it some.

I've seen a screen saver based off the NASA Mar's data. Its pretty interesting.
