how do I go about moving things in the inspection tree! like i creat teams 2, but I can move it under teams folder or stuff like that. dont tell me that with the new editor I have to move everything in the damn .mis!

Ctrl+X, select the folder you want to put them under, then Ctrl+V.
Or, you can do it the long way and move it all from the .mis file.

well heres the problem I dont know why but cntrl-c , v and x dont work at all on anything, such as cutting objecys moving that or anything, infact all my shortcuts like save opena nd unlock object sdont work as well! whats this problem? and just recently my map switches to tombstone when I try and load it, a problem I hvae never had and sorry for all the newb questions!

Run the .mis through the syntax checker, available in the tools section of the site. If it doesn't pick anything up there, use the find feature in Notepad and search for "nan".
If it shows up in a rotation field ("rotation = nan nan nan -nan" instead of "rotation = 1 0 0 0" or some numerical value), then that could also cause that problem.
Other than that, all you can really do is post your .mis or .vl2 and have some of the gurus look at it.

ok here it is, lets just have cinderkast d/l it, unless anyone wants to help(and does so). now its not finished no spawn spheres just bases and some bridges(I didnt want the .mis file to be crowded before I got it organized into teams. now it has its own terrain skins I made and also terrain file and spawn file, also I got 3 prefabs in the the ubr_base is the only one currently working :/

Doesn't ctrl-m move simgroups?

alright guys, I did the long missons thing :P and finally learned and i got spawn graphs main bases made, and everything working, just need to work on the cnh then think of base defences and then need testing. but before that i have one question about water, how come my tanks and grav cycles go under water like it was there...but when I jet its normal, it makes the sounds of going under and out of water while in the vehicles. and the rest of the vehicles work normal in water...wierd

to move things in the tree, alt+left click the simgroup to move to. it should turn up red or pink. left click the simgroup/objects you want to move and find "add selection to instant group" or something like that.
the reason you get the splashing sound is that you hit the water at high speeds and you "bounce" back out. they are hover vehicles you know! they fly out of the water at about 500km/h and may bounce back down again. it shouldnt continue for more than about 3 bounces though.
