Sorry i've been away for a bit but i'm back for the most part... as for the jump tank it sounds pretty sweet. Thing is how are we going to steer and fire? Is it going to be UT2k4 style? That makes the most sense but they already said that all the other vehicles would be mouse steering. This would confuse noobs with 2 different steering mechanisms.
On the mapping side... can anyone say two tanks running an obstacle course and trying to kill eachother?

Nah.. thats what i thought too lag, but i've seen apic and the jumping dosnt look that bad. Its just used to get across terrain that would otherwise get in the way... (ie rivers)

Like a low wall, or a rock.
I imagine this would give the tank much better agility than the beowulf... it'll probably already have better speed, and the ability to jump would let is get places a beowulf couldn't.
Of course, since its on threads, its not likely to turn as fast, eh?

I'd say it would be overall slower.
And it can probably go the same places the gravtank can, because the gravtank CAN "jump" over small obstacles, and it just floats over water.
