Centaur is kinda tricky, I found error's in it also. There are some force fields that need to be moved. This map can and will work with bot's I've played it quite a bit when Stuart Von Presley released it several year's back. It is however a tricky map. The bot's will eventually make it up the mountain however it will take them quite a while. The bot's defence on the top of the mountain is very tough!!. Offensive Bot's will have their job's cut out for them trying to take the mountain top! This is with or without Lagg's script's!!! SVP made that a tough mission from the get go!!! SVP did an excellent job on this map. He had it well thought out and executed. It can and will be a much better map with Lagg's script's added to it. It will need a lot of work though. Lagg's tutorial and script's will bring an allready excellent map to a whole new level of fun. I have a working copy of it but I am still working bug's out of it. This will take some time. I ask people to have some patience I will get this map up and running I however like Lagg do not like to release un finished Map's I also would like to email SVP and ask for permission to re-release this map for the T2 community once it is fixed and has updated Bot's added to it.

Lagg you may want to check this map out it is a very interesting seige map! It is in a way much like a lot of your seige map's which BTW I love all of your's! They are excellent well thought out and designed map's. I love going into your sever and putting your map's to the test!

How are AIOPilotShrike objective "position" and "location" fields being used?
Also the flight path Markers seem to be ignored.
Everything seems to be in the right place value-wise.

The bots often crash into the side of the mountain.
The fly level then they nose drive into it like Kamakazes!!
But a few of them actually fly up top and shoot out the turrets.

I've got them taking Shrikes up to battle on top of the Mountain...

It's awesome Lagg.... TOTALLY AWESOME. YEAH!!!!

Nice Tutorial.... Just get to the flying Objectives part... Please...

now it seems we have 2 people working on Centuar [ i dont count myself cause i suck]. MagicFire and ReconSDog :-)

MagicFire sounds kool you got the bots to fly the shrike,just cant get them Up the Hill. hehe.

this brings up a side note , wouldnt it bo cool to have the bots accelerate and nose dive the vehicle they are piloting right before jumping out ? but i do this against bots and they dont seem to take damage from this. i think you should die when getting hit with a Vehicle like that.

Well i know i was supposed to keep track of what mapper is redoing what Bot Navs. i guess i slipped up. i didnt know till just recently that ReconSDog was doing it also. my bad.

i hope this doesnt ruin my job as " keep track of whos doing what maps".

i reread Laggs awesome tutorial on Bots. its a nice read and i have a better understanding of it everytime i read.

Mr. Lagg_Alot,
What are the Position and Location fields used for in the AIOPilotShrike Objective

I think I've got the Shrike and Havoc all worked out.
They are flying, picking up passengers, and kicking some....

Now it's back to those generators...

I think the Centaur map designer's point was to make it tough to destroy them...
I've got some ideas about that one. Maybe one of them will be acceptable to
BotManiac and the Beta test team at Bots for Hirel .

maybe you should contact the author before you release it ? but . . . in the readme for Centaur he states

so just include info in youre readme, and at the loading screen would be nice also. Adding Lagg_Alot to the map loading screen and readme would also be a Good thing to do.

i need to play more of the Bot Supported Seige maps cause i know there are a few other greats. there are only 40 bot supported seige maps on tribes2maps.com. but i think maybe the one i really liked was only 'bot enabled' when i used either Belials or BotPilot or maybe a combination of the 2.
