not so common vpad problem...

Hello everyone! It is good to be back! So, down to business...

I finally opened up the map editor for the first time in....5-6 months i think, and i decided to start making a map. I got all the crap done (aside from the stasis FF script, but that will come later), and i am ready to do a final test before i add the stasis FF script.

I checked all the vpads i had. I stepped on them, and they work. I didn't end up backwards. But, it is a air-vehicle centric mission. I set all the ground vehicle fields (scoutvehicle, assaultvehicle, and mobilebasevehicle) to removed.

I saved, and then i left the editor, and quit the map. I reloaded the map, but the ground vehicle fields were set back to 1.

I may be a bit out of the loop here, so can i please get some help?

When you set those fields to removed, didja click "Apply"?

This may sound patronizing, but I've done it myself more than once and had many a panic attack because I couldn't figure out what went wrong. -_-

Yeah. As soon at i set the field values, i hit the apply button. After i am done with all the vpads, i double-check to make sure they are right. They work when i jump out of the editor and right into the game, but when i completely restart the map, they come right back.

It is becoming frustrating... :-(

I found if u move something then go in an edit a field an hit apply the object goes back to it's original possition, a work around...

Edit what u want 1st, apply, select another object, go back to ur object an move it.

or

Move ur object, save mission, select another object then go back to ur object an edit it.
