DTS+blender=free?

ok, i found this

basicaly a set of python scripts alloing you to use blender to produce .DTS shapes, without laying down any cash.
i thought i'd see what this has to offer since i have tinkered with blender before ((and i love free stuff))

has anyone set this up? seems to require experiance in python scripting...

((i know i posted about a free DTS shape maker already, but that was last year...))

well it probably does work. but it wil probably take some more work seeing as it was probably made by a community member thus making it not as powerful as the dynamix/torque made exporters.

and if you said that they had a bunch of python scripts on that site you probably wont need to know very much about them if they are all already done. they probably just need to be exicuted.

hmm i wonder if i read any of that... i was a little bit tired and on something of a Jolt cola binge
from what i got figured out yesterday, the tutorial is kinda old since the version of ptyhon i have is alot newer and much of it has changed,. mostly the stuff i would need to configure to make the DTS exporter work

hmm this is already looking like a dead end... so much for free stuff...

but for DIF it owns ((excpet staircases which are a pain and quark is better at))

to bad there isnt a fully supported free DTS maker... someone needs to get one working so i can make stuff and be a cheapskate

spiral staircases are what get me, took a while to figure it out, but the 'arch' prefab can make one if ya do it right

indeed it can.but what i found hard was making a spiral staircase but have ramps insted of flat things.. i got soo many invalid shapes lol

i saw a spiral staircase similair to that somewhere and its where i got the idea, it's the 2nd pic form the bottom set of pics ((untextured of course and half baked))

having not tested that in game i dont know if anyone can walk up it or whatever

making a spiral ramp is a cool idea, i think i know how to get that to work, but it wouldnt be the prettiest thing in the world, but no carving, or vertex manipulation
