Vehicle pad problem
Okay, Currently I've having a problem with my vehicle pad. No, before you think it's the common problem of not rotating the pads to stop the exploding vehicle issue, it's not. I have some mapping experience though no complete maps yet (never had anythng I though worth finishing).
My problem is with moving the vehicle Station away from it's normal place on the pad. When you create a vehicle pad, you get a lovely station and trigger that come along with it. they are right where you normally see it on most maps. However, some maps, (such as Hillside) have the station move away from that normal spot. Herein lies my trouble. I'm trying to move the station. I get it set just where I want it, save, and restart the mission only to find that the bloody thing has moved itself back to where it was.
How would I go about correctly placing a vehicle station away from the normal place on the pad?
Hmm.. you're right. It looks like you can add dynamic fields to the StationVehiclePad object, namely "StationPos" and "StationRot" that will put the station where you want it.
(The last time I heard on this subject was a long time ago when you did have to script it - before this was patched in)

Yes, as Juggers post says, move the station to the location you want it, copy its position and rotation info into the pad's dynamic fields StationPos and StationRot and then it should keep the position.
The reason for what you're experiencing is that on mission load, the game creates vehicle station objects, all station triggers, and flag triggers. These are then cleaned out when the mission ends, which means that any changes you make to these objects aren't going to be kept.
