Final Revenge by The Reticent on April 10, 2003

Siege Lush Foggy

When I saw the Scarabrae base the first time I thought, this must be in a siege map. So I started mapping and made my Final Revenge :-)

There are 11 gens waiting for the offense. This my be a bit confusing at the beginning, but it is a simple map.

O starts on a ground base with two Vpads. Each pad offers 15 shrikes and the usual amount of havocs and bombers. The D base is up in the sky, so vehicles are needed to get there.

The first important target is the not repairable Base Generator, located near the D Vpad. If it gets destroyed, O will spawn at the enemy base. It's not necessary, but it may help to kill the Turret Generator and the Vpad Generator before. These are outside of the base, in the middle of two spheres.

Once the Base Gen is down, there are two unrepairable ForceField Generators, an Emergency Generator, and finally one of four Switch Gens to kill.
The Switch is located in the heart of the base, the Switch Gens next to it. Each of this gens is powering a FF covering it's side of the switch. Heavies can't cap!

Further there is an Equipment Generator. As usual it powers the invs, but also a large FF near the Emergency Gen.
I named it Main Gen before, but it seems that this name makes ppl think it is the most important generator. Funny, not even on a new map with 11 gens they are going to press esc to read what to do =)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

A great looking map, tested it solo, and enjoyed it. That, and I love seige maps! I enjoy the multiple entrances, the many things to defend, the various things to attack, and the needed teamwork. An 'A' , but only because new players may be horribly confused in Seige if its their first time playing.

Definately an A+. Very good game play indeed. Well planed. Attackers had to attack in sequence, step by step to over-run enermy bases. There are two routes to go in enermy base. I usually infiltrate via the secondary route, which not many people know. Try discovering yourself. It leads to the switch room passing almost all defenses. A well place for attackers to camp.

Amazing map. Prolly my favorite, if only because of the base.
It is a little confusing at first, in terms of understanding how all the gens work, but the range of techniques and skills possible on this map exceed most other maps I've played.

At first I had a hard time understanding what gens did what, and how to even get to each gen. After playing for like 5 minutes I figured it out. Sets a good D so that the map isn't quickly, but can still be capped everytime. For some reason the Inv I use most on O, is the one named Giant Purple.... coincidence? Great map.
