Siege

Four Tribes by Red Shifter on February 19, 2006

Siege Lush Raining

Here is my undisputedly final map for Tribes 2 Siege. My master work. The best thing I will ever come up with. This map blends the Siege gametype with some CTF/Rabbit overtones to get a simplistic map that revolves around the flag.

Starwolf: You don't get much equipment; not even a health kit. This flag is simply a throwaway.

Phoenix: You get an Energy Pack and Inventory Stations. Show your mastery of the art of combat.

Blood Eagle: You get a Plasma Rifle in a large base. In close quarters, heavy weapons are the order of the day.

Diamond Sword: You get a Cloak Pack and a Shocklance.

Watery Siege by Red Shifter on December 18, 2005

Siege Other Foggy Night

You really thought you were rid of me? The greatest mapper ever? The Red Shifter? NEVER!

Watery Siege is an extension of Watery Death. Instead of just going around and shooting at enemies, you actually play around an objective! And there's movable turrets too!

Offense: Your goal is to claim the switch. It's just sitting there, but it's not as easy as it looks. You must hold it for 3 minutes in order to make the capture. If you're having problems with the enemy turrets, try knocking them back to a less lethal position.

Defense: The offense is coming for your switch.

Siege Other Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

On this map the attackers start in the moutains. They must go into the oasis and destroy the generator in a base inside a Volcano. At first there is only one way into the Volcano base and that is threw the top of the volcano. At the top of the volcano there is a gen that the attacking team can repair so that will spawn a landing pad so that the drop into the base wont do damage to them. Once inside there are 2 gens to destroy one that powers the force fields to the front entrances and one that protects the switch. The gen that protects switch cannot be repaired.

Aztec Temple by Lagg_Alot on April 1, 2005

Siege Desert Clear Bots

This mission starts as an outdoor onslaught of incoming vehicles. If the offense manages to Claim the outdoor Altar Switch and Spawn it could turn the tide of the battle to a fast paced indoor war for the 14 generators that power the Base and the Objective Switch Force Field.

The Defense has the advantage of a lot of inventory stations and the high ground.
The offense has the advantage of all vehicles as well as the MPB Teleporter.

The capturable Altar hosts a set of Sparky's Teleporters that allow quick access into the large fortification.

Convoy -Final Assault- by alingis on March 25, 2005

Other Siege Lush Clear Night

Final version of the Convoy series.

This map plays as a new gametype. The goal:

Defense: Drive and protect the convoys (MPBs) across the treacherous terrain to reach the other side of the zone. Score +1 for each convoy that arrives safely.

Offense: Destroy all 4 convoys to clear the forcefields protecting the switch, then cap. +1 point for fastest cap.

As always, thanks to all the Tribes fans, past and present, who have made this an enjoyable community to participate in.

Stranglehold by Lagg_Alot on August 31, 2004

Siege Snow Snowing Bots

Stranglehold is a small fast paced Siege map that will keep the action going. Offense has a Vehicle Station and MPB Teleporter that will help to keep the pressure on. Defense has a Vehicle Pad that only allows Shrikes. The Main Objective is housed in a Bunker that is quite difficult to defend. The Main base houses the Generators that power the Objective Force Field. The Bunker Gens have to be disabled in order to access the Main Base. Not to hard to figure out. This map include the my Advanced Bot files for all those Bot lovers out there.

Biohazard by Jambon on July 13, 2004

Siege Badlands Raining Night

A barren wasteland, poisoned by toxic liquids. Perfect for battle.

The offense starts in a floating base, the defense in a hillside bunker. Destroy one forcefield generator and two main generators to reveal a switch, submerged in the liquid. It is possible to reach the switch as any armor, although heavy is easiest.

Weapon of Choice by Jambon on July 9, 2004

Siege Snow Storming

One of my first maps, Weapon of Choice does something downright cruel to Siege players and removes their inventory stations. You have to pick up all your weapons and packs. The map flows relatively easily from building to building. It's fairly small and can go quickly. Thanks to all who helped me test.

Cold Front by Lagg_Alot on July 7, 2004

Siege Snow Snowing Bots Night

Make no mistake about it; Cold Front is an all out war. The offense team has all vehicles and use of the MPB Teleporter available to them. The Defense has a Large well defended base, and that is a liability. The base is so large that it is almost impossible to stop the attackers from getting inside as the Entrance Force Field Generators are positioned outdoors. If the attackers do manage to get inside the defender’s base they will have no problem finding equipment to destroy.
