Capture the Flag Other Clear Client Side

Battle it out on a high-altitude plateau. Designed specifically for use with competition ladders and either Base or the Base++ mod. 2 points of interest per side and 2 power sources on this medium sized vehicle map make sure that action is non-stop. The open flag stand restricts opportune grabs, but still allows for a lot of flag movement. Terrain is varied and balanced for each side and while it facilitates skiing, fast get-a-ways will require some skill.

There’s something for everyone on this map. From lancers to snipers, cappers to shrikers, even bombers and HO will have something to do. This map allows for a wide range of strategy while maintaining a level of action around the flags themselves. Vehicles are a definite asset, but are not the “end-all and be-all” either. The force fields on the bunkers allow for flag stand-offs and protect against mortar spam, but are only slow-down fields and are thus easily penetrated.

Two different power sources power everything, so simply attacking one of the bases will not be enough, yet neither is impossible to destroy. Add the open flag stand and balanced terrain and this makes this map neither an Offense-centric nor a Defense-centric map.

This is my first map. It is my interpretation of what a good medium-sized vehicle map should be like, with competition in mind. It's my hope that it makes it to the competative ladders.
