Capture the Flag Other Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

Important notice : Please delete all .dso files from your gamedata base dir before deciding that the scripts in this map are crazy. Older versions of the teleport script by Sparky cause some weird problems with the pipes. 6 captures to win, 35 min rounds. Many people have been waiting for me to release this map, and it’s finally here. I hope you all enjoy killing each other in Mario world. Thanks goes to Sparky for his great teleport script and to DSEZ for the skins. If the skins don’t work extract them from the vl2 file. Have fun

A very impressive Client Side map. You can tell a lot of work went into this. So why no plus at the end of that A? Because it needs sound. The environment and visuals are amazing, but that is only half the story here.

Sorry.. I honestly can't like this map too much. The interiors are boxy and the center is just... weird. Not much going on. Plus the pipe network is so redundant. So much COULD be done with the material here, however.. and I give major props for the author just taking on the project, and getting so much of the "look" down. It just doesn't translate into great gameplay at all. =(

yeah. i wouldnt grade it to harsh...i mean, like said b4, its based on a very very...ancient game in terms of technology. gameplay might not be so great but the idea and effort deserves a decent grade.

Like I said in the review: props for originality, but... it's a T2 map. Isn't it SUPPOSED to come with gameplay pre-installed?

And you don't have to come off the "blockyness" to make bases that are interesting.

And the skins.. are not (honestly) worth too much. Color schemes, that's about it.

Just so you guys know, if you want some mario music to add a little atmosphere just get any mario tune in .mp3 format and put it in your /tribes2/gamedata/base/music dir. Make sure you name it mario.mp3 then your all set. I didn't include the music because I was told if you put it in the vl2 it wont work correctly. Installing your own music will not affect being able to play the map online. (or it shouldn't I think)
