Siege Desert Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

My first seige map.. : )
This spent some time in beta and is on the pond.. I redid the textures and got it down in size.. so this is completely seprate from my other maps.. this is a stand alone map.. : )
same thing for the textures and palms.. : )
hope it plays ok..
It may be awhile for a new map so I decided to post these while I work on the rest.. : )

Hey Berk great job. Those interiors looked nice in beta.... Hey one question though - I've heard that waterblocks conflict with portal zones, I think someone said in the forums. Was he just talking about when you place a base completely underwater and you go in and once you can't see the entrance anymore it takes away the blue filter from the screen but maintains water physics? If anyone remembers my disaster Submerge (siege) this is what happened. I was planning on doing something similar with lava in an upcoming map.

Ok, here is my two cents worth of knowledge on water.. : )
When you place water you will find it doesnt show up under terrain at a certain point.. and mountains too.. I think the computer figures you cant see it so why place the texture, but it will give you the sluggish water effect and so on..Now as far as inside the pyramid.. the ground is a bit below the pyramid so it doesnt affect the water.. and the portal for the entrance is out of view of the water (inside anyways) so it wont affect that.. otherwise I have no clue as to what someone else is doing.. : ) But overall I find that you can have water in a base as long as it doesnt envelope the whole base.. to safe I would only have water in a small portion of the base.. it may work the same way as the mountain as the water will not show up inside a bigger size base if it is completely filled.. : )
but thats just my 2 cents.. and thanks for the good comments.. : )

Nice map with pretty large impressive interiors. I think it plays best with classic due to the large distance between.
