Capture the Flag Lush Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

This map is a Capture the Flag map set in a broad canyon with a dormant volcano in the center. It is another map in the series of large terrain maps I have done. I have used Sparky's Teleportation script to allow the flag bases to be several kilometers apart. I have include a custom skybox derived from a Hubble Space Telescope photo and custom terrain based on USGS data for a portion of the Grand Canyon. In addition, I am using a custom prefab base that I originally designed for Tribes 1 using Worldcraft. I hope you like it.

Wow looks like you did some research... I like the terrain, though it is VERY big. I mean in a shrike at full speed i still felt like i was going 2 mph. How did you do it though, maybe a satellite photo that you imported into tribes? I think 7 kilometers is a bit far between the flags, even with teleporters. You don't want to force people to use them, particularly since they're in the enemy base. Now I'm not going to grade this cause im not sure how it would play on a pub server, but you should consider moving the flags closer together. I like the base too, the simplicity kinda reminds me of Tribes 1, and its always good to see custom interiors =)

I love it. I LOVE seeing these massive environments. The teleporter networks definately balance the gameplay tempo out. Only issues are balance once, in terms of the access to teleporters especially above the flag bases. I'd love to play this one regularly. I'd also like to see the sky rendered at full detail!
