Siege Lush Foggy Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

This is actually the first Tribes 2 map i ever made.
This version still holds some terrain texture glitches. The fix will be available once the new Tribes patch is released.
There are two mission files in the map package. One with the standart mission settings, that is recommended for public servers and the other with reduced fog and enhanced visible distance, that may cause heavy lag on slower machines.
The defenders are holding a command bunker located in a bombed village. The powerplant is still online providing power for the bunker's defense systems, so the offense must charge an assault and attack the city at all costs.
There are two switches in the map, which both allow the offense to cap. One is located in the command bunker, the other in the powerplant.
The offense must take out the security generator located in a bunker on the mountain near the village, to make switch access possible. Then they can take out the backup generator that powers all-slow forcefileds and indoor sentry turrets to make the cap easier. The command bunker's defense turrets are powered by the powerplant itself.
The defense has a large perimeter defense and sensor net, that is powered by several solar panels on the village's rooftops.
Besides the offenses' main dropsite there is another one for scouts to infiltrate the city. Equipment can be taken from the crates.
The offense's vehicles do not respawn, so take care of them.

This is a great map and it looks like you've worked realy hard to make this map. You seem to be realy good at worldcraft for your first go. Just one thing, the spawn speres don't seem to be working cos i spawn in the air when i start. But other than that, IT'S GREAT!

Niiiice, has sort of a WW2 feeling to it. I'll test it a bit later (really busy now... :( ) Hopefully with the WC made buildings the FPS levels will be nicer than some other 'city maps' that utilize nearly every building in the game... Not that they're bad or anything, but they will kill any low-end vid card...

Looks like he pulled the pictures from the high visibility version, which I get about 3 FPS on...

yeah, I've already sent the mail. The bug is actually caused by the new beta patch's editor, I'll post here when the update is set.
But the map is running on The Pond server and you can play it with the buggy version as well. Only when you want to play the map by yourself or you want the host it on your server you need the updated one.

Yea WW2 is just what i was thinkin as i looked at the screenshots. Anyone ever play the Day of Defeat mod for Counterstrike? hehe... Im not going to grade it yet cause of the error but it looks pretty good!

hmm, maybe you did not get me, but the error is fixed now and the updated file is on now. Just download it again to have the fix. ;)

@ shadow facts: just download the file again and replace the one you have. Maybe you don't have the updated one,

@ J-Freak: did you choose the siege game type in the map selection screen?
This map is not CTF.

No, the map is not using the beta patch.
But there will be a polished version with better terrain texture placement, once the final patch version is released.

fighting within the city on this map is a lot of fun. the buildings and ruins make this map a blast for snipers, lancers, and HO alike. very nice.
