Capture the Flag Lush Foggy

This is a mainly aerial map designed for servers with large numbers of players, and has interesting features to give everyone something to do. :)

The main bases float upon a thick cloud layer, with their keels being all that's visible from the ground. Multiple vehicle pads keep the lines short, as do respawning shrikes on the main base. The flags are protected by orange forcefields, making capping possible with the power up, but rather difficult. The FF generator is in a tower on the ground, and has minimal built-in defense.

The Valley of Death by NecroBones on March 6, 2002

Capture the Flag Desert Foggy

The map was named after a line in "The Charge of the Light Brigade", by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The design was inspired mostly by DOX's "Canyon Crusade" from Tribes 1.

Like "Disco Inferno", this map was originally one of the sample-maps from the BONES Mod, and thus will not operate precisely the same way without the mod. Namely, the base turret will start without a barrel, and the MPBs will not be able to redeploy in their spawn locations (except at the beginning) due to being too close to the flagbase.

This is a close-range battle, mostly on foot, in a large deep valley.

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy

This map is one of the sample maps from the BONES Mod, and as such uses a lot of features that won't be present if you run this without the mod- namely all the turrets will start without barrels, and the disco will be missing some of it's cool effects (specifically the spotlights and lasers). Also, the "neutral" base will not fire on the players.

This map breaks from standard CTF gameplay by making both flags inaccessible to the other team. Capping is done by taking a 3rd "neutral" flag and bringing it home.

Capture the Flag Lush Foggy

This solar system use to belong to the Starwolf Tribe who claimed it to contain the planet that was origin of all the Man Tribes, Terra, also known as Earth. However, after the Starwolf were attacked by the Bioderm Hordes they were driven to the outer colonies. So, the Diamond Sword decided to take advantage of this weakness and seiz Terra. But the Starwolf are the only ones that know how to interpret the ancient texts of the planet, and they claim that the entier history of the Man Tribes is there.

Rabbit Snow Foggy Night

It simply seems there that there aren't enough rabbit maps. This I have been told was the best rabbit map... I would like to believe this, but fear it was simply the lack of rabbit maps that make mine stand out. Who knows. There have been some criticisms, but it keeps coming back up into play.

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Client Side

While sitting in the T2 Recruiting Chat, I became extremely bored, (as is usually the case). So, I spoke up.
"Ok people. The first person to PM me with an original concept for a map will get that concept created, and I will start tonight."

The first one to PM me was Phantom_Lord, and here was his idea:
The theme was to be Heaven Vs. Hell. Hell would sit on the ground, surrounded by a pool of lava, and Heaven would float above Hell.

That was the idea. Now, to explain the finished map. When I was first told the idea, the thing that popped into my head was the gameplay balance.

Sky High by kd7aze on February 24, 2002

Capture the Flag Lush Foggy

Sky high is my first fully new map. The two bases are arial, with support provided by small ground bound bases. The two bases are interconnected, each providing power for the other. This is not a small force map, rather there will need to be extensive battles to take out the generators for the bases. There are no teleports, in an effort to keep the map as uncomplicated as possible. A difficult decision, but I wanted to keep the reliance on a good defensive team, not an individual.

Capture the Flag Desert Foggy Bots Client Side

This map features custom terrain. Visibility is limited. Rolling hills are ski friendly, making getting across the small map no problem. While not the best map for vehicle strategy and usage, it allows Shrikers to make great runs for the flags, what I have taken to calling: "Jet Jump N' Run". Each side consists of a Sensor Platform, Turret Platform with Plasma Barrels, A Main Base, and a Vehicle Pad. There are three Inventories in the main base, and one on the vehicle pad. The flag sits atop the bases in it's own little alcove.

BATTLE-4 by Uncle Bob on February 23, 2002

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Client Side Night

The last battle here. Flag is in the open again, but well defended. Vehicles limited to flying. Lava covers most of the land. But enough land to run around on. I raised the amount of
vehicles also. Map is not as big as the others and only 5 captures to win. Have fun.
