Storming

Capture and Hold Capture the Flag Other Storming

The Bioderms invented a system to absorb the power right from
a planet's life systems. This planet used to be a lush forest,
and now look at the carnage.

But this machinery has a reverse switch.

Control the Planetsucker complex and you can save this planet!

Howl of the Yeti is a "melee" CTF and CnH map, with both teams' bases very close together, and surrounding a center objective building.

The map was inspired by the amazing colours and sharpness of my new Samsung 570V TFT display.

Thanks to clan +|TBF|+ for testing.

Capture the Flag Desert Storming

Desert map, the athmosphere is poisoned because of nuclear weapons(of course you dont lose health from that) and the edless booming of thunder might be the last thing you see... A long underground tunnel goes from base to another, some plants here and there, and three capturable objects. No vehicle-stations.

Mare Imbrium by Hecubus70 on August 9, 2001

Capture the Flag Other Storming Client Side

Named after an impact crater on the surface of the moon, Mare Imbrium is a fairly simple battlegroud, but an incredibly harsh environment. The teams are placed at the edges of a huge impact crater. Meteors continue to pummel the surface of the planet at a much too constant rate. In the center of the map rests the huge rock that caused the crater--it's electromagnetic energy forcing discharges of lighting to strike the surface of the meteorite. A strange mist surrounds the giant rock while the only repair pack on the entire map is located atop it's hazardous peak. Approach it if you dare.

Capture the Flag Race Volcanic Storming Night

Welcome to Terminal Velocity, the CTFer's portal to Wildcat Racing, Crazed air dueling, or suicidal Jerricho tricks. 1.5 k up, 14k of non-linear track, this map allows all vehicles for the crazed CTFer, or the criminally insane grav bikers. Also featuring loops (although they dont work until a pro drives them, or Dynamix fixes the physics), sky line dives, and suicidal Jerricho flips, this map should please every audience, provided you have enough skill :). For this, I decided to throw load times out the window to provide pure quality and solid fps.

Capture the Flag Snow Storming

This is a map created mainly for those who prefer the more refined strategic CTF experience. Basically, both bases are set over 1k from each other, making vehicles very appealing. This is where the center tower comes in. Since the vehicle ceiling is a smug 500m, the capturable tower contains 2 turrets set high above the ground, and can easily get a lock on those bombers that like flying in the clouds. Special features include a low fog ceiling, making ground vehicles (which are available) difficult to spot, as well as lightning strikes every 2 seconds. Enjoy!

Woody Myrk by Juno (Hunter Luisi) on July 30, 2001

Arena Capture the Flag Team Hunters Lush Storming Night

Woody Myrk is the first map in my upcoming "OldSchool" mappack. As with the other maps, it's serverside (uses the MyrkWood terrain), and it's gameplay is a based off of a T1 map (hense da "OldSchool"). Can you guess which? =)

Key Features: - Each team has a main base with the flag area behind it. - The outside turret and sensors are powered by the two solorpanels on each side of the base. - River, bridge, and Repair pack can be found in center of map.

Capture the Flag Other Storming

This is a server side based map that was designed for Ultra Renegandes but is useable by other game mods. It was tailored to {[BMF]}'s fast action, high-intensity style of gameplay that we like to see in Tribes 2 maps. It offers a variety of different platforms to battle from including air bases, and underwater vehicle pads and supply depots for each team base. Center objective was placed to help tilt the balance of
power during game play. Bases are well fortified but room was left for teams to strategically add their own defence.

Capture the Flag Desert Storming

Many would call Death Birds Fly one of their favorite maps. I like it, but I find it a little boring after so many plays. Consider this like a sequel to it. As I hinted to in the opening screen for the map, a disturbance in space approaches the planet where DBF takes place, and sets off massive storms below. The valleys are flooding, but the war must go on!

I made this not with the intent of just giving DBF a facelift, nor the intent of completely re-working the map. I wanted it to be an evolution of sorts. The bases are a bit better equipped and a bit easier to defend.
