Capture the Flag Desert Clear Client Side
Two big symmetrical bases in a desert, joined by a highway with an heavily defended objective in the middle giving access to an extensive sensor array. Each base has 3 Vehicle Pads, each of which produces different vehicles. 2 Generators in the two flagged towers powers the Vehicle Pads and the Sensors, 6 solar panels on the big tower powers the turrets and the inventory stations (and the lights btw:) Reserve repair packs can be found in the basement of the flag base. Note: There are a few problems with the highway. first of all, the only vehicle that is able to drive on it is the scout, as it is not wide enough to allow passage for a beowulf or a Mobile Base :(, secondly there are major grafic glitches. This is due to the lack of curved bridges (aka roads) in T2. Sorry. I hope you enjoy this map anyway, SammyF

by Doug Welch on May 20, 2001 Permalink · Rating:it takes forever to light...but beyond that, this is a great scout level. It's quite funny if you see an enemy on the road, if you can manuever behind them on a different road, then floor it...lol. Good fun over all.
Probably one of the coolest
by Burn14 on June 19, 2001 Permalink · Rating:Probably one of the coolest maps i've gotten to play for T2. Thats probably due to the fact that the bases are like Giant cities. The reason I gave it a low grade is that probably only a few ppl will be able to run this map without thier FPS dropping below 5. Good map, but better think about how it will affect ppl's FPS.
