Tony and I were both working on this type of map, however since I got a bit carried away with turrets, this version is at least possible. Kudos Tony, it's oddly popular on HV.

And is To easy to distroy the enemy base if you hold the sky temple and the power gens. Bit spread out generators make them hard to defend. Maybe a spawnsphere next to the Power would have been nice.

by Fugitive on July 30, 2002 Permalink · Rating:Nice job. I actually just got done playing it so i decided to rate it. I like the whole temporary wall idea and i wonder why it hasnt been done sooner. I like the idea that the enemy can sneak in and easily rain death from above if your not careful with your D. Although i have to agree that caps are a bit difficult but from what i saw very possible if u have a good cover team assisting. Cant wait to see your next addition to HV.

Version 1.1 should have spawn spheres in the power building because on public servers its hard to get enough people organized to retake and repair the gens. There should also be a latter or elevator or spawn sphere on the superstructure because once the enemy captures the sky temple and takes out your vehicle station its impossible to get the the off the damn thing. Maybe a transfer beam to the sky temple that is powered by its own generator that is out in the open in the base with a very quick repair time. With a couple of these changes to keep game play from stagnating i think you will definetly have a map of the week and i reccomend all admins add this map to their rotation.
