Siege Lush Storming

Ok, here it is. My first siege map i have made, besides Starport(made only for The Pond). Fishie has yet to review that map. So, in the meantime, i decided to make another siege map. I took an old game called Castle Risk and made it into a map. I did ponder if i should make it a double map type and add CTF, but i decided not to(sad right?)

I am going to start making deathmatch and rabbit games(only cuz they are easier to make, cuz im lazy, lol). The objective is to take down the gate, base, and switch generators. The equipment generator powers all the turrets, stations, etc. One little catch thought, there is NO repair pack avalible to the defending team. This is a tst to see if ppl can work as a team or try to take all the glory and make themselves look like(pardon my french)morons.

It is vital that the defending team keeps the equipment generator up or they will have no chance to recover. Just a little league twist i added to the map. Remember, on one person can make up for their mistake if they cost their team the game. Have fun!

I know i made a few "interesting" maps. But i am sorry to say, that this map is going to be my last map i will ever make. Due to curcumstances beyond my control, Tribes2 will no longer work on my computer. I have tried serveral ways to get it to work again, including, uninstall, re-install and buying a new cd, but, unfortunatly, none worked. I know some ppl like the maps i made(yeah, right!), but until i am able to get my Tribes2 up and running without getting a UE and "program has performmed illegal operation" message at the same time, i will not make any more maps. I can only hope my maps become well known and successful.

First of all, are you running the patch? If not, here was a really good thread at the official tribes2 forums, under gameplay/troubleshooting. Its the one with 600+ replys. YOu cant miss it.

I am running the patch, but that is not the problem. I have had graphics problems with my Tribes2 for some time now. I have tried all i know and what other people have told me, but nothing worked. I knew it was only a matter of time before my computer said "I am not going to let this user play tribes2 anymore. I won't even let him use a different cd to play the game." For now, until i am able to tell my computer to go to hell and work god d#\%$it, and it to comply, i will not make any more maps or be online playing the game. It won't even let me onto solo & lan. I think, that in either case, i am screwed. I am going to upload a map i made for the pond, but there are going to be no screen shot. For the Pond does not need screen shots. I also did not install anything that might interfer with the game. I did update my BIOS, i think that that might be the problem. I am going to try something, but i am not sure if it will work. I am going to try and re-format my hard drive and re-install my game. IF that does not work, then i al so screwed, i will never be seen on tribes again.

Great news! My tribes 2 in now operating within normal peramators(the only problem is the same graphics problem, but i know the cause of that. My vidoe card isn't in perfect sync woth my processor). I don't know how to fix that prb, but it doesn't affect my gameplay. So, i will start making maps for tribes2map again. I still have yet to learn how to use that damned new map editor(its confusing!)

Don't forget to comment on the map people. I need to see if there are any problems with the map, or if you guys have any suggestions that might make the map better. Let me know. I know i might sound a little naggy, but i need this info. Thanks!
