Capture the Flag Lush Clear Bots Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

This a map inspired by the soon to be released PlanetSide game, by Sony Online Entertainment. Spent to much of my life getting the bots to work close to perfect. TribalMa5ter created the bases and sky, as I Uncle Bob made the terrain and textures. This map is loosly based on the game. After all this is T2 with a totally different engine. But we did the best we could with just messing around with the idea. Bases are big, and darn awsome I must say. Walls surround the base for easy sniping and good flag defence.
Gens are located underground with a back enterance not to easily found. Plenty of room inside and out for cloakies. "Sorry it's 4:30 am for us, and the insanity is setting in. But we worked hard on it, We are proud of it, and we hope you enjoy this alot. If it does great up here, then me and TribalMa5ter will go ahead and maybe make a full scale squeal for T2. Next map we might disable jet packs to make it more suiting to the game. We did mess around with the idea but we felt many would of not like that idea as well. So let us know what you think! WOW! I have to DL this one! Sceens looks cool as all heck! I'll be back with a grade when I'm done. Hope I can make a map that looks as good as this...=) )

Wow this map is awesome!
However, I dont think CTF is very suitable for a map in this scale. Maybe something like double Siege where both teams struggle to get to the switch in order to win (one switch in each base). There are some "glitches" in the base but the greatness of the base itself more than anything carry the weight of those smaller errors.

Very nice map! But it´s not a CTF map IMO.

Awsome work for the base! Bots are smart also. Only thing I noticed was acouple bots getting abit stuck on one wall trying to jump up to the ledge but they did make it. It's a bot thing, I seen it before in other maps. I like to know how you made the sound of the BASE going down when the gens were destroyed and the sound going back up when they are repaired.
I saw no scripting for that. Lighting in the base is cool to. Very well done. what texture did you use for the glass? Bridges are realy cool looking also. Just can't get over how well the base is built. Only thing i saw off witht he bases was going up the that steep step/ramp on the wall. IF you're running and do a jump it's easy to go to far. heehee. But I can look past that. And the walls are great for defence for sniping and mortoring your enemy. Many places to put sensors up and outdoor indoor turrets. I see people who like to cloak having some fun to. Well Done!
I would like to see you make a bigger one. Maybe a Siege on as well. A+ in my book, keeper to! AND if done right, I would not mind you messing witht he gravity thing. Is that a physical zone? I'm new...lol.

WOW!!!!! God damn! Nice map. Awesome sky, textures, and i LOVE the bases. I have yet to play it with bots, but i will soon. The only thing this map is missing, is TR2 skins to go with it! It is easy to tell how much work was put into this map just by looking at the terrain, sky, and the buildings. This map goes beyond an A+. And it also goes beyond a simple "great" or "nice" job. It is more like an...Extravigate Job.

Thanks everyone for the grades and feedback of ideas and such. Me and TribalMa5ter are working/ soon to be working on two siege maps, he want to make a castle one and I at the same time would like to make a Halo Siege.
I believe the second bord int he game where you crash land on to HALO itself. I can do the terrain easy for it, might be a couple weeks for him to make the base for it. I think PlanetSide to him just over aweek. Halo is a bit smaller in size but he does a hell of a job. I think after thoughs two maps are done we will start on ShrikeWorld Track2. BUT take one at a time here..lol. If we do make a another Planetside map I think we just might use the siege idea from
Anakha. Heck maybe a arena amp as well. T-Ma5ters work has realy got me back into making maps again. Maybe I will let him make some bases for TRON.

Awesome map UC & T.Ma5ter ...I havent played T2 in awhile. I truly am waiting for Planetside so this is a nice map to play with. GJ! Cant wait to see what this team can put together next.

Yes, I should say that my little compatriot down there has been off the T2 binge lately... Both of us have been actively playing Battlefield 1942 (however I still do play T2 in an active tribe), and he is indeed waiting for Planetside. This map looks darn impressive. On my new machine I should have absolutely no problem running it! :D

Nice map, I'd d/l now but I haven't got T2 back up.....one thing I noticed in one of em pics wat there wasn't no teleporters.....hehheh, anyways nice...I'll give ya a grade soon!

Just got done playing this one and I have to say great work on the base!
Textures are well done to. Bots work and are smart. Everything is blended well. Flag is well defended with the turrets on both side but not to hard that you cant get it by yourself. Good map, and hope to see more!

An incredible map, the screenies dont even come close to preparing you for it. I was struck with awe at the extreme funtionality of the base, the changing ff billboards, the generator shaft, and the dome at the top of the tower. I have to know how you did that! Overall if this map doesn't deserve MOTW I dont know what does.

Nice map,
have it on my server but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control the server is offline for a bit... (damn war)
So hopefully I will get it back up soon so this map can get some play.. : )
I like everything about this map and has some really good inventive ideas... I especially like the ff that changes pics.. I havent had time to tear apart the map yet to see how it works but will soon.. : )

Cool. Thanks for downloading and wanting to play it. If you are talking about useing the bases for you own ideas then by all means you have our permission. Just give credit, which I sure you already know about it.=) I'm so glad everyone it enjoying this. Looks like we will be making another one here soon. After the Halo map. Will find out tomorrow.

Oooooo, pretty... It's a bit of a "DOH!!" however that it taxes even my video card (Gainward GeForce4 Ti 4800)... Inside it runs smoothly, outside however... I was averaging about 40-60FPS while wandering around. I love the bases (especially the Vbay house), and noticed that this map would WORK as a map on a server somewhere (hinthint). It's got plenty of nooks and crannies to throw your stations into for either raping or 'just in case' the power goes down... Pretty nice distance between the flags... Lots of space for flag defenses (with the flag only guarded by twin plasma turrets, which are EXTREMELY lethal in Version 2)... Only problem that I can see from it being on a server somewhere is that A). No one will have it when the map comes around in the rotation (ahhh, but that's normal isn't it?) and B). I don't think many people who pub have a good enough computer to play without selling their left testicle for some FPS... ;)

I can't say to much more than what has already been said so far. Love the bases! These will never get old running around in. Terrain it fun and makes for good chalenges. Keep the cool maps coming. Hope you will do a part 2 to this, of some kind anyway =}~.

Working on a part2 right now. Just takes time getting all the game types done. I think the next map T-Ma5ter is working on is Strike World Track2

I love the map guys! AWSOME job...if i may drop just one suggestion...make it a non Client Side map...im using it on my War2003 Server so lotta the guys are kinda mad :( other than that ITS AWSOME! nice work.

MAN! Can't belive that MINUES took it off the top user rated..lol. Oh well. thanks again for all thoughs who like it. And how would we make is Server Side? Useing alot of walls from the game would make it laggy and crappy looking. =)~

Looks awesome, great effort. Only problem is that you pretty much cant ski at all...*echo* all, all, all....

Maybe you designed it that way because of planetside? Im unsure. Dont ever think of disabling jetpacks in tribes2 maps, you dont have air control so it would suck majorly...

this is an awsome map! i thoght i graded it already. the teamplay and base designs are real nice, as are the textures and everything about this map. gameplay is awsome!

I'm surprized this is still doing well up here. Cool. Maybe we will do another. Thinking about redoing some old maps using Worldcraft, and new textures. Not sure yet, hell, Not sure if I'll ever do another Tron map, might just leave it.
