Capture the Flag Other Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

Welcome to Planetfall a thoroughly custom map designed for ctf riots. Team one's base is a DropCruiser with access to there floating flag base by a gen powered force bridge.
Team two has a custom land base heavily defended by missle turrets. It also comes replete with a much smaller dropship which gives easier access to the hovering flagstand via another force bridge.
Both teams have one vehicle pad within there respective bases and one located remotely.
Boys and girls everything but the sky and two reworked textures is original on this map.
For you mappers the interiors and textures are free to use on your own maps no credit to me necessary.

*spits out drink* EIGHT MEGS?!!?! O.o Jeez, for a first map you sure has hell are ambitious! Ok, down to SS questions. 1). Is that a HERC I see in SS2? Or just your personal 'bragging rights' showing us that you recreated a 'Mech from MechWarrior? 2). Not really a question, just a 'nice looking custom textures'. 3). Those are some pretty nice looking naval ships, more than likely made in WC Hammer, MilkShape or something else? And secondly, do ya think that it would hit anyone with some FPS loss (on lower end machines, NOT mine. :D)? I'm thinking 'no', but there's always the lingering doubt in my head... 4). Custom terrain too right? ;) I'll test the map out once I get some free time later today, and get back here with reviews for a FEW maps!

There are no custom dts shapes in the map. Everything including the mech are custom interiors. Hey look it's a giant bipedal tank. Who did it first? I don't know probably some sci-fi writer in the 50's. What I'm saying is it hard not to make it look like something already created cause so many have mechs been done....but I did not have any particular mech in mind when making it in WorldCraft. I have no noticeable slowdown on my TI4600 AMD 1300 mhz system however if things do get a little sloppy on lower end systems it will be around the cruiser which I learned on in Worldcraft.

true... Nearly everything mech-wise has already been done. Designs, ideas, ect.... Well, I've apparently been somewhat lazy, as I still haven't tested the map out.... _'

*iczer's mental thoughts on while playing this map* "Hmmm, experienced MFB drivers can park the jericho on the FF bridge, but the station will hang out in mid-air... hehe... I love playing with Jerichos.... *drives jericho and finally maneuvers it into position for it to deploy on the FF bridge* Well that looks darn odd. Well, time to see if it'll fall or not! *runs into the closest station to get a satchel charge and plants it between the two gens, then runs back to the base of the FF bridge* Heh, SO LONG MR. JERICHO!!! *blows satchel, FF bridge disappears* Heyyyy, it's floating still... *jumps into jericho to undeploy it* Hmmm, still thinks the FF bridge is there eh? Fun..." Oh yeah, nice job on the bases too. :)

This map is really quite impressive.

I love that the two bases are completely different, even though they may not be completely even. I didn't lag at all (LAN) even with all the graphics right up.

The hoverships, the destroyer, the mech, the roads, the ground textures.

It was all so pretty and new. My only complaint visually would be that the textures on the hoverships and in a few other places could've been a bit more varied.

Unfortunately it might turn out that teams are really unbalanced and the gameplay isn't too hot if it gets played in the PU, but as a piece of art, imagination and effort this is impressive and deserves an A.
