Siege Lush Foggy Bots Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes Night

Sledgehammer is my 7th and my last map. It was made with the intention that I bring a few new possibilities to siege as my parting gift. This is not an easy map! This may not be the last you see of the dropship...

Anyway: to bugs. I know that bots try to get through ffs. That cant be helped without some very messy bot scripting. Bots forget their tasks easily - nothing can be done either. The vehicles may have some difficulty moving off thier spawn locations - espically bomber and havoc. Just wiggle them around a bit. Vehicles tend to "stick" to forcefields - just be careful with them.

Welcome warrior. This is the mothership Sledgehammer IV, hovering about 300m above the planet Hakiri in the Arunius galaxy. High command has instructed us to take the facility to the north-west we name "The walled mountain". This is a cryogenic and biochemical facility, and we have reason to believe that they are breeding bioderms and other warriors there. Before us, the mothership Sledgahammer III was sent to capture this base; no survivors have been found. It is believed any prisoners have been harvested for biological materials. Although we lost many warriors, they did manage to give us some vital information about the facility. There are 5 rings of defences. The first is the turret network of 8 or so AA turrets. How you avoid these is up to you. Next is the generator tower; it powers these turrets and the forcefields in the main fort. Take these out to gain access to the main base. Next are the tunnels around the main base - be prepared for tanks and a heavy resistance there. Next are the main generators. Taking these out is not entirely necessary, but will make the capture of the base a lot easier. Be careful warrior, and keep you eyes open for possible ambushes. You must strike in a large force in order to succeed - a few half-decent warriors with no experience can stitch this place up tight.

*Its just not the same! To download the map the way it was ment to be played; with a really cool martyr pack, please visit my website.

This looks like its going to be a beautifull map, havent played it yet but the texturing and design looks great. The inside reminds me of the Alcatraz base with a twist. The screenshots look like this will be an incredible farewell map.

w00t i finally played it and this map kicks ass. Ive always dreamed of having a huge underground bunker with vehicle tunnels, and another of a ridiculously large ship from which vehicles can be launched. This is a beautifull combination of that.
Though playability takes a small hit around the sledgehammer. My GeForce2 couldn't keep up. O well. Very well done map, worth the A+!

13 downloads! :dances:

soz psycho. i figured that lag would be a bit of a problem. you have no idea how bad it was before the portals with 16 bots running around and getting stuck...

Excellent work on the bases. This is one of those maps I wish was on rotation somewhere. Just one favor, don't quit yet, make a CTF version of this map with the defender's base ;)!

you probably will see the dropship again ;) but i think the main base is too tightly defended to be a ctf map. feel free to make a ctf version if you wish!

Amazing Map!!!!! I alway loved loved high up bases but with this one it's different, but with me my bots on the attacking side never ever move from their spot but on the defending team they work fine?Is something to do with the height or what??????
