Capture the Flag Desert Clear Bots Client Side

Tried to make a simple map.
Flag in the open. Not alot of big hills, but enough to slide around. Hope it will be lots of fun. Bots work great. Shapes are from the new patch which everyone should have by now. High Visiable distance, clear bright map. Get board with all the dark maps around. Not that I dont like them. Just a change.Oh well, enjoy it! I hope...

Capture the Flag Desert Clear

This is a small-scale map I made for those small games with 8-12 people (we often have those on our tribe's server). It plays very fast and we've had loads of fun with it. Very intense, as the name suggests.

Flag base are very close together, you won't have time to relax.

Turret and sensor powered by solar panel on the roof. Take it out and you'll make your capping life a lot easier.

Capture the Flag Desert Clear Client Side Custom Shapes

My first submitted map, Scarab is also my first brush with client-side mapping. All the prefabs were designed by myself using WC3. Theyre pretty basic in design so you won't get lost.

Both bases consist of two towers, a flag stand, a single base turret, and platforms at variable heights. Spanning across the center of the map is a long bridge, which uses some of the textures from Bridge too Far (part of the Dynamix final mappack).

Most will think the terrain is quite monotonous but I wanted to make a fast-paced map with nothing but ski-routes.

Neutral Zone by Bazz on September 13, 2002

Siege Desert Clear

Both teams can use the neutral stations.

Attackers must destroy two neutral base forcefield gens to gain a new spawn point and then get the last gens and switch

gens not repairable

no base rape.

Siege Desert Clear

This is a remake of the original Gauntlet, two bunkers have been added that control new Forcefields. The back door cap is still possible without generator destruction but the difficultly of it increased as one chute entrance is blocked and the main passage to the switch block by FF. The idea here was to keep the map feeling like Gauntlet while adding objectives to encourage teamplay.

Siege Desert Clear Client Side Custom Shapes

After a long time of stalling and working I finnally decide to release another map. Of course this is a siege map too. But don't worry a arena Mirage, and hell maybe a SLDM Mirage will come out soon.

As far as base layout goes, there is 2 diferent bases for the defenders. One is the Wall base and the other is the Main Base. The wall base two platues with a wall/bridge type to connect two towers together. In the towers are inventory stations for the attackers and defenders. Once the wall gens are destroyed then the inventorys for the attackers become availible.

Capture the Flag Desert Clear

This is a small CTF map with small bases. The map is full of lava pools, and turrets. you need to destroy all 3 generators to expose the flag. after that, its out in the open and up to the defenders to keep it.

Return to Fractured Past by Dr. Pimento on August 11, 2002

Capture the Flag Desert Clear Bots

A fast, quick version of Fractured Past, in CTF only. Bots work really well, sniper positions, turret and inventory placement, etc.

Because of the short distance, gameplay is that much faster, plus the lag in the huge Fractured Past map is non-existant here.

The lower bases are gone, as are the hangers. Still a lot of fun, tho'!

Credit to StarStriker for the idea!

Have fun.
