**Attn: Base Staff**
As you all know we live in a remote corner of known space, in a binary star system in which only one planet orbits. This planet has a unique property, a low altitude fog that never dissipates. When the Blood Eagle clan landed here we discovered this fog and the dangers that existed in it. That is when we named this planet, Perilous. Until recently there has been no need for a permanent base of any type on this planet since we are in a “noncombative” area.

Siege Lush Raining Night

Bin a while since my last release This will be my second Siege map. I tried much for originality in this map by using a main base that hasnt been used in Siege yet. This map is a camper's dream but if you like being a juggy there's plenty of things to lay siege to before you go in for a gen kill. Offense: Teamwork is a must here since the objectives are nice and spread out. In a step by step fashion, your strategy is this; You spawn in your base, get a vehicle from the pad and fly over to the Outpost ForceField Generator.

I always liked the Alcatraz base, but I didn't like how it played in Siege with 2 different openings. So I blocked one of them off and put the Control Switch there.

There are a total of four geerators. The Entrance Gen is irrepairable and must be down to gain access to the base. The Main FF Gen powers 3 FFs, 2 in the main room and 1 guarding the Switch Gen. Then the Switch Gen powers a FF blocking the Switch. The Supply Gen isn't an important asset to win, it just powers most of the turrets, sensors, and stations.

Happy hunting.

Well, the mission is based on the single player mission of Bloodjewel. After the defeat of the horde the Blood Eagle and Diamond Sword are at war again. This time, it is what the horde was going to attack in the single player mission. Diplomats from each tribe concurred that a single CTF tournment would decide who would control the reign on Menabar Holdfast and the Starport located there. <P> Each team has FF's protecting the flags. Offensive bunkers provide a front lide offense against the enemy. The Starport is capturable and has shrikes, bombers, and vehicle stations.

Homeworld is lush earth like world, there are two fortress both well armed and armored by plasma turrets, force fields and vehicle pads, to disable the defenses you must take out the generators you can find them in the generator tower. There is also a spaceport if you take command it will help you deploy your troops faster to the enemy fortress.

This is an extrememly fast-paced map. It is also the first server
side map I have made. I have tried to do it before but end up changing
the terrain in some way :). The hook on this map is the CNH aspect. There
are 5 towers, all neutral at the start of the game. Both sides have a
tower close to them that they can claim early. Each tower contains an
inventory and either a remote sensor or turret. The high central tower
(tower 1), has mortar turrets within range of either sides flag. However,
the enemy can use this turret against the controlling team.

NOTE: Map requires shifter mod client pack to play. Get the latest version of shifter at www.shiftermod.com

My first map, which came out well. Very team oriented and contains many shifter only extras such as heavy plasma turrets, nuke turrets, and a few special bonuses. See attached screens for more details, and enjoy.

Base version coming soon, but it isnt as cool. Any criticism or comments are appreciated.

Mortar Hurricane by Cypher19 on August 23, 2002

Siege Lush Clear Client Side

My first map, Mortar Hurricane, I designed to fix many things I didn't like in other seige maps, such as too much emphasis on indoor combat resulting in 'twitch' battles, or dawdling around too much searching for an inv. Also, the Offense isn't slowed down. They have 8 invs all in basically one spot, and getting to the enemy base is very fast with a large emphasis on skiing.

The offense starts on a high rectangular plateau, leading down with large hills on four sides, North, South, East and West.

To the North is the control switch, which is housed behind two no-go blue forcefields.
